Hydraulic adjustment of the support wheels and frame steering.
Our 4-blade road grader is ideal for long-distance driving and for heavily trafficked roads with heavy traffic.
The front blade is hydraulically adjustable with a toothed, lowerable blade.
Hydraulically operated swath spreader.
The support wheels are individually hydraulically controlled.
Requires 3 single-acting and 2 double-acting hydraulic outlets.
This is the road grader for professionals. This model is designed for those who drive very long distances on roads—and do so frequently. The grader stands out for its exceptional quality and is primarily intended for contractors, road associations, or anyone offering road maintenance services. This road grader offers entirely different capabilities and settings than our other road graders; the rear wheels are designed to compact the road, and it comes equipped with a hydraulic spreader.
The ability to adjust the wheels allows you to find the right settings for optimal performance. A common issue when collecting grass from the edges is that it comes with clumps of grass and other unwanted objects that pass through the cutting bars and get stuck in the swath spreader. You can easily avoid this by raising the swath spreader and “releasing” the clump of grass.
Another advantage of the hydraulic system is that you can raise the spreader when backing up. The road grader is equipped with a hydraulic scraper blade, and you can adjust the depth yourself. This allows you to choose how much material to remove. You’ll often want to remove more material when maintaining a rough road.
At the front of the road grader is a piston that allows you to angle the blade toward the roadside. This makes it possible to pick up more gravel, enabling you to reuse the road’s existing surface. This is particularly advantageous as today’s tractors are getting larger and larger, making it harder to angle the scraper. With the V4-240, you instead have a hydraulic drive. The scraper’s load box can handle weights up to 750 kg.
The first cutting edge consists of serrated steel that can be replaced with System 2000. In that case, it features carbide tips with a rotating motion pattern. The advantage of this is that the natural movements cause the metal to wear more slowly while removing more material. This is particularly beneficial for heavily compacted roads that must withstand heavy or high traffic loads.
